NCCA Accreditation

NAFC Gains NCCA Acredidation

We are proud to announce that the National Association of Forensic Counselors (NAFC) Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor (CCFC), Clinically Certified Criminal Justice Specialist (CCCJS), and Clinically Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist (CCSOTS) certification programs are now accredited through the NCCA, the credentialing body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE, formerly NOCA). Other programs are candidates for accreditation.

This NCCA accreditation is extremely important as many state agencies, licensing authorities and legislatures are requiring NCCA accreditation to assure that the certification is valid.

The NAFC appreciates your professionalism and continued interest in providing high quality and competent services to sex offender clients referred to you from the criminal justice system. The NAFC will continue its practice of dedication to our membership and public safety by providing high quality certification programs.
